Capital markets watchdog SEBI has ordered defreezing of bank and securities accounts of Gemini Communication after it recovered pending dues of over Rs 11 lakh.

The dues included interests, all costs, charges and expenses.

In an order, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said it has recovered Rs 11,30,534 from Gemini Communications towards full and final settlement of dues.

Accordingly, the regulator has directed banks and depositories to defreeze the accounts of the company.

Last week, SEBI had ordered to attach the bank and demat accounts of the company to recover the penalties imposed for violation of capital market norms.

In addition, it had also directed the banks to provide details of all the accounts of the firm as well as loan and advances made by the company.
