SpiceJet has completed the transfer of 4.29 crore shares to promoter Mr Kalanithi Maran taking his shareholding in the company to 13 per cent.
The overall promoter holding of the company has now increased to 48.6 per cent.
The airline company in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange said that the transfer was completed on Tuesday pursuant to the approval given by shareholders a week back. The shares were allotted to Mr Maran at a price of Rs 23.18 a piece. This would infuse about Rs 100 crore into the company.
Currently, the company’s stock is trading at Rs 26.90, up 0.6 per cent from the previous close. So far, the scrip has touched a day’s high of Rs 27.30 and a low of Rs 25.80 per share.
