$45-m GDR issue from Videocon

Videocon Industries on Monday said that it had decided to issue 1.57 crore global depository receipts (GDR) worth $45.21 million to LLIC S.a.r.l through a private placement. Each GDR would represent one equity share of Videocon and has been priced at $2.88 a GDR or ₹181.61 an equity share, said the exchange filing. On Monday, the Videocon scrip closed 4.22 per cent up on the BSE at ₹165.45 a share. Over 1.3 lakh shares were traded with a delivery percentage of 35.2.
