BHEL maintained its firm undertone to extend its gains near the close on the BSE on Monday. At 2.20 pm the stock held gains of 4.52 per cent to trade at ₹250.90 as against ₹240.05 at close last week. The markets remained shut for Diwali on Thursday and Friday, except for a short Muhurat session on Thursday.
Coal India rallied to hold gains of 1.22 per cent at ₹357.05. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹352.75.
Dr Reddy’s Labs spurted 1.17 per cent at ₹3,090 as against ₹3,054.35 at close last week.
Larsen & Toubro made gains of 1.15 per cent at ₹1,577.50 as against ₹1,559.50 at close last week.
Tata Power spurted 1.08 per cent to quote at ₹89 as against its previous close at ₹88.05.
