Shares of Ballarpur Industries jumped 5 per cent in early trade after the company said its stepdown subsidiary filed a draft paper for listing on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
The stock, which hit a high of Rs 18.5 in early trade, is currently (3.10 pm local time) hovering around Rs 17.9, up 3.17 per cent over the previous day's close.
Ballarpur International Graphic Paper Holdings, which is exploring the possibility of listing at an overseas stock exchange, has made first submission of draft offer document for possible offer and listing of its equity shares on the main market of the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX-ST) and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on July 21.
