Ballarpur Ind subsidiary directors resign

PV Bhide and Jane Fields Wicker-Miurin have resigned as Directors from the Board of Ballarpur International Graphic Paper Holdings B.V., The Netherlands (BIGPH), a step down subsidiary of Ballarpur Industries Ltd . Their resignations take effect from March 31. The company believes that BIGPH would contribute to the further growth of its business and explore and evaluate various fund raising options. BIGPH holds substantial paper business in India and the entire paper business in Malaysia through step down subsidiaries. The stock on Tuesday closed at ₹13.8, up 5 per cent, over Monday’s close.
