Hindustan Unilever emerged the top gainer on the NSE as well ahead of the close of trading on Monday. At 2.50 pm the stock was trading at ₹682.55 as against ₹663.75 on Friday. This represented a gain of 2.83 per cent.
The FMCG major today reported that its Q1 net grew 3.68 per cent at Rs 1,056.85 crore.
HCL Technologies moved up further to trade at ₹1,621.80, a gain of 2.49 per cent on the previous close at ₹1,582.35.
Cairn India trimmed some of its morning gains to quote at ₹314.65 as against ₹308.70 at close on Friday. This represented a gain of 1.93 per cent.
Dr Reddy's Labs spurted 1.44 per cent at ₹2,783.50. It had closed the previous session at ₹2,744.
Punjab National Bank came off its morning highs to trade at ₹934.95. However, this was still 1.22 per cent up on Friday’s close at ₹923.70.
