IDFC emerged the top gainer on the NSE by the close on Friday. At 3.50 pm it was trading at ₹163.95, a gain of 2.85 per cent. The stock had ended Thursday’s session at ₹159.40.
TCS, which reported a 45 per cent growth in Q1 net on Thursday, came off its morning highs in late trading. At the close it held gains of 2.49 per cent to trade at ₹2,441.20 as against ₹2,381.95 at close yesterday.
Hero MotoCorp sped up 2.41 per cent at ₹2,504.50. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹2,445.55.
Kotak Mahindra Bank made further ground to trade at ₹935.85, a gain of 2.29 per cent. It had ended the previous session at ₹914.90.
HCL Technologies was trading at ₹1,500.25. This represented a gain of 2.28 per cent on its previous close at ₹1,466.80.
