IT shares built on their early momentum to remain the predominant gainers on the NSE near the close on Tuesday. At 3.20 pm HCL Technologies stayed ahead of the pack with gains of 4.96 per cent at Rs 1,558.95. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 1,485.30.
TCS held gains of 3.55 per cent at Rs 2,442.45. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 2,358.65.
BPCL flared up 1.71 per cent at Rs 647.25 as against Rs 636.35 at close yesterday.
Tech Mahindra kept gains of 1.45 per cent to trade at Rs 2,531.95. The share had closed Monday’s session at Rs 2,495.75.
Infosys traded up 0.59 per cent at Rs 1,936.20 as against Rs 1,924.80 at close yesterday.
