Infosys maintained its firm trend through the trading day on the BSE on Friday. It extended its morning gains to close up 6.68 per cent at ₹3,888.95 as against yesterday’s finish at ₹3,645.55. Earlier today, the company announced that its Q2 numbers had beaten expectations. Net profit for the quarter was up 7.2% at ₹3,096 crore.
BHEL edged up 0.91 per cent to quote at ₹220.85 as against ₹218.85.
Hero MotoCorp made further ground to hold gains of 0.83 per cent. The share was trading at ₹2,842.20 as against ₹2,818.90 at close on Thursday.
Reliance Industries gained 0.59 per cent to trade at ₹960.30. The share had ended the previous session at ₹954.65.
Sun Pharma gained 0.54 per cent to quote at ₹818.80. The share had ended Thursday’s session at ₹814.40
