Rakesh Jhunjhunwala bought one crore equity shares of Edelweiss Financial Services on Thursday for ₹55 each (aggregating ₹55 crore), according to bulk deal data on stock exchanges. Meanwhile, GPC Mauritius I LLC sold over 1.18 crore shares at ₹56.35 apiece and GPC Mauritius III LLC sold over 1.44 crore shares at ₹56.34 a share, showed the data. On Thursday, the scrip closed at ₹59.95, up 10 per cent, touching the upper circuit, on the BSE.
