Mid & smallcap stocks to see wild swings

Shares of mid- and small-cap stocks will remain in focus on Friday, as they will swing wildly to the poll outcome. Though the BSE Sensex, the Midcap and the Smallcap indices have gained about 7 per cent since the start of the polling began on April 7, midcaps and smallcaps slipped on Thursday. Several stocks including Unitech, and Arvind have jumped since the start of the year on hopes of a stable Government taking charge at the Centre.
