National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) on Friday said it was confident that its initial public offering (IPO) would comfortably sail through despite a somewhat muted response on Thursday. The issue, so far, was subscribed by 23 per cent

The top management is optimistic as they feel that the company's fundamentals are strong and the pricing is reasonable. The selling shareholder has left enough on the table for investors, said an official involved in the IPO process. A favourable response is also expected from institutional investors, Mr Vishnu P. Das, Chairman and Managing Director of NBCC, said at a press conference here on Friday.
