IIFL Group on Friday announced the appointment of Mr Nipun Goel as President, Investment Banking. Mr Goel will be heading the Investment Banking team at IIFL Capital, said a release from the company.
Mr Goel was the Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Nomura, India, before joining IIFL. He has also served as Managing Director at DSP-Merrill Lynch. Mr Goel has an overall experience of more than 15 years.
Mr Goel is a post graduate from the Indian Institute of Management — Ahmedabad and an engineer from Delhi Institute of Technology.
