Pharma stocks maintained their firm undertone on the bourses near the close on Wednesday. At 3.10 pm Sun Pharma rose 4.40 per cent to trade at ₹845.40 on the NSE. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹809.75.
Cipla was trading at ₹492.20. This represented a gain of 3.72 per cent on its previous close at ₹474.55.
Lupin perked up 2.22 per cent at ₹1,245 as against its overnight close at ₹1,218.
Kotak Mahindra Bank gained 2.11 per cent at ₹1,001.30. The stock had closed Tuesday’s session at ₹980.65.
Tata Power Company charged up 2.05 per cent at ₹94.50. The share had closed the previous session at ₹92.60.
