TCS and Infosys were the only shares that managed to hold gains in late session on the BSE on Tuesday. The Sensex witnessed a massive sell-off which saw it lose over 500 points during the day.
At 3.10 pm TCS was firm but off its morning highs. It was trading at Rs 2,440.15, up 3.27 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 2,362.80.
Infosys gained 0.71 per cent to trade at Rs 1,938 as against Rs 1,924.30 at close yesterday.
