The TCS scrip was the top gainer on both the BSE Sensex and the NSE Nifty in afternoon trading on Monday.
Around 1 p.m. the scrip was up 3.16 per cent at Rs 2,191.10 on the BSE Sensex and 3.32 per cent up at Rs 2,192.50 on the NSE Nifty.
Its previous close on the BSE Sensex was Rs 2,124.05 and on the NSE Nifty Rs 2,122.05.
The company will come out with results for the second quarter tomorrow.
