Tata Power Co held firm to keep gains of 1.53 per cent near the close on the BSE on Wednesday. At 3.15 pm the share was quoting at ₹89.85 as against ₹88.50 at close on Tuesday.
Sesa Sterlite made further ground to hold gains of 1.49 per cent at ₹285.90. The stock had ended the overnight session at ₹281.70.
ICICI Bank also edged up to hold gains of 1.28 per cent at ₹1,567.50. The stock had ended yesterday’s session at ₹1,547.70.
Bajaj Auto made gains of 1.11 per cent at ₹2,351 as against ₹2,325.20 recorded at close last evening.
Cipla was firm but off its morning highs at ₹577.35. This represented gains of 0.37 per cent on its overnight close at ₹575.20.
