The top management committee of UTI AMC is said to have constituted a crisis management committee to tackle the issue of suspension and transfers of officers, according to sources.

The UTI AMC officers union meanwhile, went on a peaceful demonstration against the top management on Friday for revoking the suspension of the three officers and also the transfers. “Around 110 officers participated in the demonstration in Mumbai while many went on mass casual leave,” said an employee of UTI AMC.

Being affiliated to All India Bank Officers Association and also All India Bank Employees Association, the officers union has decided that they stand for a negotiated settlement of issues.

“The officers have the full support of the AIBOA and the AIBEA,” said Mr Vishwas Utagi, Secretary, AIBEA. “The ministry of finance should look into the matters regarding suspension, transfers, pay, and promotions immediately,” he added.
