Alkem Laboratories has received tentative approval from the US Federal Drug Administration for the generic of Lyrica (Pregabalin) in 75mg, 100mg, 150mg, 200mg, 225mg and 300mg, details on the regulator’s website show. Lyrica is used to treat patients of nerve pain caused by diabetic nerve and spinal cord injury, among other conditions. It is also an anti-epileptic drug. Shares of the company inched up 0.1 per cent at ₹1,675 on the BSE.
