The board of VXL Instruments on Tuesday approved a draft scheme of amalgamation of VXL Instruments with Priya Ltd. The exchange ratio has been fixed at 4:25, i.e., four fully paid-up equity shares of ₹10 each of Priya will be issued for every 25 fully paid-up shares of VXL Instruments. While shares of Priya closed at ₹35.3 on the BSE, those of VXL Instruments jumped 4.72 per cent at ₹13.3. Investors and analysts will keep a close tab on these firms.
