Ambuja Cement surged 3.36 per cent to lead the pack on the NSE at the close on Wednesday. The share was quoting at Rs 238.30 as against its overnight close at Rs 230.55.
Axis Bank moved up further to trade at Rs 551.95. This was a gain of 3.17 per cent on yesterday’s close at Rs 535.
GAIL (India) rallied further to notch up gains of 2.22 per cent at Rs 365.85 as against Rs 357.90 at close yesterday.
HCL Technologies gained 1.92 per cent to trade at Rs 887.20 as against 870.5 at close overnight.
Wipro advanced 1.77 per cent to quote at Rs 541.65. The share ended the overnight session at Rs 532.25.
