Arvind Remedies has informed the exchanges that the conciliation efforts with the striking workers (at Unit No 1 at Kakkalur, Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu) have failed and the matter will now be continued at the Labour Court. In view of this development, the strike by the workers stands discontinued, it informed the exchanges. Shares of Arvind Remedies closed at ₹13.95, down 0.71 per cent on the BSE.
Mohit Industries has purchased land admeasuring 5,000 sq mt at Khatalwada, Taluka Umargaon, Valsad, Gujarat for meeting future capacity requirements of the company (more specifically, its AAC Blocks plant) and is only part of the total land required for expansion. Currently, the AAC Blocks plant is running at optimum capacity, the company informed the exchanges. Shares of Mohit Industries slipped 1.8 per cent at ₹ 53.2 on the NSE.
Techno Electric & Engineering Company has informed the exchanges that Simran Wind Project (SWPL), a 96.62 per cent subsidiary, has sold 44.45 MW wind power assets situated in Tamil Nadu at an effective valuation of ₹215 crore. Post-transaction, SWPL continues to hold 117.9 MW of wind power assets. Techno Electric, along with its subsidiary SWPL, will have a portfolio of 162.9 MW of wind power assets, post-transaction. Shares of Techno Electric gained 1.5 per cent at ₹401.9 on the NSE.
