Ashok Leyland suspends work at Ennore plant

Ashok Leyland has informed the exchanges that due to heavy rains/floods in Chennai, production activity was stopped at its manufacturing unit in Ennore, near Chennai. The company will be able to assess the insurance losses in due course, upon assessment by the insurance company. Shares of Ashok Leyland closed at ₹90.05, down 0.22 per cent, on the NSE.
