Asian Paints resumed its firm trend on the NSE on Wednesday, buoyed by a rating upgrade by Credit Suisse. At 11.40 am the share had notched up gains of 2.96 per cent to quote at Rs 916.85. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 890.50.
HCL Technologies gained 2.70 per cent to trade at Rs 1,660 as against Rs 1,616.35 at close on Tuesday.
Tech Mahindra was trading at Rs 2,874.05 as against Rs 2,816.65 at close yesterday. This represented a gain of 2.04 per cent.
BPCL flared up 1.90 per cent at Rs 705.20. The share had finished the overnight session at Rs 692.05.
Bank of Baroda was up 1.70 per cent at Rs 226.75 as against Rs 222.95 at close yesterday.
