Asian Paints was the top gainer on the NSE on Monday morning. At 11.25 am it was trading at Rs 827.90 as against Rs 808.40 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 2.41 per cent.
DLF built up gains of 2.26 per cent at Rs 160.95. The share had ended last week’s session at Rs 157.40.
Zee Entertainment gained 1.69 per cent at Rs 350 as against Rs 344.20 at close on Friday.
HCL Technologies rode up 1.61 per cent at Rs 2,045 as against Rs 2,012.60 at close last week.
Bajaj Auto was on a firm wicket, notching up gains of 1.38 per cent to trade at Rs 2,051 as against Rs 2,023.10 at close in the previous session.
The Sensex and the Nifty were trading marginally in the red, with the Sensex down about 50 points at the 28,460 level, while the Nifty was trading down by less than 20 points at the 8,630 mark.
