Auto shares were in the limelight on Thursday morning. At 10.15 am Bajaj Auto was the top gainer, riding up 2.03 per cent to quote at Rs 2,574.85 against Rs 2,523.60 at close on Wednesday.
Hero MotoCorp rode up 1.33 per cent to trade at Rs 2,552.40 against Rs 2,518.80 at close overnight.
M&M advanced 1.10 per cent to trade at Rs 1,304.40 as against Rs 1,290.25 at close yesterday.
Reliance Industries was up 0.92 per cent at Rs 1,015 as against Rs 1,005.75 at close previously.
GAIL (India) sailed up 0.85 per cent to trade at Rs 393.80 against Rs 390.50 at close last evening.
Both the Sensex and the Nifty were trading flat above 28,000 and 8,400 points respectively on uncertainty over Greece's debt position following a rating cut to two notches above junk status.
