Auto shares Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors were among the top gainers on the BSE on Wednesday morning. At 10.30 am Maruti Suzuki led the shares on the BSE, notching up gains of 2.18 per cent at Rs 4,137. The share had ended the overnight session at Rs 4,048.70.
ONGC flared up 1.78 per cent to trade at Rs 294.90 as against Rs 289.75 at close on Tuesday.
Tata Motors rode up 1.67 per cent to quote at Rs 392.20 against Rs 385.75 at close yesterday.
Wipro gained 1.63 per cent at Rs 575.75 against Rs 566.50 at close last evening.
Hindalco Industries spurted 1.43 per cent to trade at Rs 106.10 against Rs 104.60 at close yesterday.
