A meeting of the board of directors of Avanti Feeds will be held on May 9 to consider sub-division of the face value of its equity shares and issue of bonus shares. If the proposal is approved, the board will then seek approval from the shareholders of the company. Shares of Avanti Feeds jumped 7.72 per cent at ₹2,357.05 on the NSE.
