Axis Bank was in the limelight in the Wednesday morning session. At 11.40 am it led the pack on the NSE, trading at Rs 545.95 as against Rs 535 at close on Tuesday. This represented a gain of 2.05 per cent.
GAIL (India) sailed up 1.70 per cent to trade at Rs 364 as against Rs 357.90 at close yesterday.
Lupin perked up 1.68 per cent to trade at Rs 1,750.65 as against 1,721.75 at close overnight.
ICICI Bank was up 1.62 at Rs 332.15 as against Rs 326.85 at close on Tuesday.
Tata Steel advanced 1.56 per cent to trade at Rs 377.05. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 371.25.
