Axis Capital Markets India has informed the exchanges that on August 6 it executed a deed of settlement with Axis Capital Ltd, a subsidiary of Axis Bank Ltd. As per the terms of settlement, it will change the names of the company and its subsidiary companies to Axis Equities Pvt Ltd and Axis Wealth Management Pvt Ltd. As a part of the deal, a total sum of ₹1.50 crore will be received by Axis Capital Markets and its subsidiaries from Axis Capital. Shares of Axis Bank edged down 0.67 per cent at ₹579.9 on the BSE.
