Bajaj Auto scaled new high on both the BSE and the NSE, hitting its year’s high even as other major auto stocks witnessed good buying interest.
The stock reached a peak of Rs 1,699, its year’s high, on the NSE, before declining marginally to Rs 1,695 this morning. The volume of trading was 2.64 lakh shares.
On the BSE, the share climbed to a high of Rs 1,696, its 52-week high before settling down to Rs 1,692, a jump of about Rs 52 or 3.19 per cent. The trading volume was around 30,000 shares.
The other major auto gainers were Maruti, which was up by Rs 22.65 to trade around Rs 1,114, M&M trading around Rs 811, Hero Motocorp up by about Rs 29 to trade around Rs 2,081 and Tata Motors was up by Rs 7.75 at Rs 185.70.
