Bajaj Auto sped into the lead at the week open on the BSE. At 11.20 am it was trading at Rs 2,261.25. This represented a gain of 1.48 per cent on last week’s close at Rs 2,228.25.
ONGC flared up 1.47 per cent at Rs 356.10. The share had closed Friday’s session at Rs 350.95.
Sun Pharma rose 1.34 per cent at Rs 941 as against Rs 928.60 at close last week.
Hindalco Industries moved up 0.37 per cent at Rs 147.90. The share had closed last week at Rs 147.35.
Reliance Industries was trading at Rs 912.20 as against Rs 910.45 at close last Friday. This was up 0.19 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and the NSE Nifty were trading in the red in the morning session, reacting to exit poll projections that AAP will form the government in Delhi. The Sensex dropped nearly 300 points to trade below the 28,500-mark, while the Nifty shed 85 points to hover below the 8,600-mark.
