Bajaj Auto notched up gains of 1.58 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the BSE on Monday morning. At 11.10 am it was trading at Rs 2,054.85 as against Rs 2,022.90 at close yesterday.
Infosys rode up 1.29 per cent to quote at Rs 2,245 as against Rs 2,216.45 at close on Friday.
Sun Pharma Industries rose 1.14 per cent to trade at Rs 1,023.65 as against Rs 1,012.15 at close last week.
HDFC Bank moved up 1.04 per cent at Rs 1,053.70. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 1,042.85.
State Bank of India gained 0.84 per cent at Rs 283.20. The share had closed Friday’s session at Rs 280.85.
The Sensex and the Nifty were trading marginally in the red, with the Sensex down about 50 points at the 28,460 level, while the Nifty was trading down by less than 20 points at the 8,630 mark.
