Bajaj Auto rides up over 2% on BSE

Bajaj Auto rode up 2.15 per cent to lead the pack on the BSE on Tuesday morning. At 10.30 am the share was trading at Rs 2,075 as against Rs 2,031.35 at close on Monday.

GAIL (India) sailed up 1.08 per cent to quote at Rs 403.40. The scrip had closed the previous session at Rs 399.10.

TCS was trading at Rs 2,569.30, up 0.92 per cent on yesterday’s close at Rs 2,546.

Reliance Industries gained 0.90 per cent to quote at Rs 831.40. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 824.

Larsen & Toubro climbed up 0.70 per cent to trade at Rs 1,768.05 as against Rs 1,755.80 at close on Monday.

The Sensex and the Nifty were up ahead of the RBI monetary policy announcement later today. The Sensex was trading up over 50 points to hover above the 28,550 level. Similarly, the Nifty gained over 10 points, to trade near the 8,670 mark.
