Balasore Alloys has commenced commercial production from September 15 at its Sukinda unit, Odisha. The unit has been acquired from Jabamayee Ferro Alloys as a going concern on a slump sale basis. The Sukinda unit has installed production capacity of 15,660 tonnes per annum. Shares of Balasore Alloys gained 0.47 per cent at ₹21.55 on the BSE.
