SBI and Axis Bank emerged the best performing stocks among the Bank Nifty constituents, even as the Bank Nifty posted significant gain of about 190 points with all the 12 stocks in the green today.
SBI was up by Rs 35.75 to trade at Rs 2223.10 and Axis Bank moved up to Rs 1212.60, a gain of Rs 26.25. The other major gainers were BoB that was up by Rs 15.70 at Rs 808 and PNB that gained Rs 15.25 at Rs 973.35.
