Public sector bank shares were the predominant gainers on the NSE on Monday. At 3.24 pm State Bank of India led the pack on the bourse with gains of 4 per cent at Rs 280.85 against Rs 270.05 at close previously.
Bank of Baroda shed some of its morning gains to trade at Rs 184.15. This was a gain of 3.75 per cent on its Friday close at Rs 177.50.
ICICI Bank traded up 3.26 per cent to quote at Rs 312.25 against Rs 302.40 at close previously.
Bosch rolled up 2.9 per cent at Rs 25,383.90 against Rs 24,669.70 at close last week.
Punjab National Bank was off its morning highs at Rs 154.85. This was a gain of 2.55 per cent on last week’s close at Rs 151.
