The Sun Pharma stock extended its firm run on the bourses on Wednesday. At 3.20 pm pharma stock was up 7.15 per cent on the NSE at ₹630.15 as against Monday’s close of ₹588.10.
Banking stocks joined Sun Pharma among the top gainers on the bourse. Bank of Baroda extended its morning gains to 5.53 per cent at ₹791.85 as against Monday’s close of ₹750.35.
Axis Bank gained 4.51 per cent to trade at ₹1,486.15 as against Monday’s close of ₹1,422.05.
Tata Motors rode up 4.38 per cent to quote at ₹421.70 as against its previous close at ₹404.
ICICI Bank was quoting at ₹1,260.80, a gain of 4.27 per cent on its previous close of ₹1,209.15.
