The initial public offering of Bharat Dynamics opened on Tuesday with a price band of ₹413-428 per share. The government is selling a total of 22,451,953 shares, diluting its stake by about 12 per cent.
The minimum lot bit is 35 shares.
The issue closes on March 15.
SBI Capital Markets, IDBI Capital Markets and Securities and Yes Securities will manage the public issue.
Bharat Dynamics is engaged in the manufacture of surface-to-air missiles (SAMs), anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), underwater weapon launchers, counter measures and test equipment for the defence sector.
The government plans to raise Rs 960 crore through the divestment.
