Bharat Forge on Tuesday said that it has completed divestment of the balance 26 per cent stake in Alstom Bharat Forge Power Pvt Ltd, the power equipment joint venture with GE. With this, the company has completed the divestment of its shareholding in Alstom Bharat Forge Power Pvt Ltd to GE, Bharat Forge said in a regulatory filing.
Consideration of $35 million for the disposal of the shareholding was received in March. Shares of Bharat Forge closed at ₹772.50, up 0.63 per cent, on the NSE.
