M&M traded on a firm wicket on Tuesday morning. At 11.20 am it was the top gainer on the NSE as well, quoting at Rs 1,238.95. This was a gain of 2.66 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 1,206.80.
Bharti Airtel dialled up gains of 2.49 per cent at Rs 352. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 343.45.
Coal India gained 2.39 per cent at Rs 365.85 as against Rs 357.30 at close on Monday.
IndusInd Bank traded up 1.69 per cent at Rs 910.35. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 895.20.
Bajaj Auto gained 1.61 per cent to trade at Rs 2,143.90 as against Rs 2,109.85 at close yesterday.
