Bharti Airtel made rapid strides in the afternoon session to post gains of 3.02 per cent on Wednesday. At 2.25 pm it was trading at Rs 379 as against Rs 367.90 at close yesterday.
Dr Reddy’s Labs also joined the uptrend to notch up gains of 2.27 per cent at Rs 3,512.10. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 3,434.10.
Hindustan Unilever extended its morning gains to trade at Rs 977.7. This was a gain of 2.20 per cent on its close at Rs 956.65.
GAIL (India) sailed up 2.15 per cent to trade at Rs 392. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 383.75.
M&M rode up 2.09 per cent at Rs 1,252.65 as against Rs 1,227.05 at close yesterday.
