Bharti Airtel spurted 2.69 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the BSE in late trading on Thursday. It was trading at Rs 435.90 against Rs 424.50 at close yesterday.
Bajaj Auto was firm but off its morning highs. It was trading at Rs 2,572 as against Rs 2,523.60 at close on Wednesday. This was a gain of 1.92 per cent.
M&M built on its early momentum to notch up gains of 1.91 per cent at Rs 1,314.95 as against Rs 1,290.25 at close yesterday.
Wipro spurted 1.29 per cent at Rs 559.5 as against Rs 552.35 at close previously.
Axis Bank gained 0.79 per cent at Rs 583.35 against Rs 578.75 at close last evening.
