Pharmaceutical shares Sun Pharma and Dr Reddy’s Labs were broadly firm on the markets on Wednesday morning.
At 11.19 am Sun Pharma led the pack on the NSE as well, trading at Rs 1,053.40 as against Rs 1,023.90 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 2.88 per cent.
Bharti Airtel dialled up gains of 1.96 per cent to quote at Rs 401. The share had closed the Tuesday session at Rs 393.30.
Dr Reddy’s Labs was trading at Rs 3,553.15 as against Rs 3,488.75 at close overnight. This was a gain of 1.85 per cent.
NTPC steamed up 1.60 per cent at Rs 149.20 as against Rs 146.85 at close yesterday.
Punjab National Bank traded up 1.32 per cent at Rs 146.30 as against Rs 144.40 at close on Tuesday.
