BHEL charged up over 4 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the NSE late on Wednesday. At 3.20 pm the share was trading at Rs 251.85 as against Rs 241.45 at close on Tuesday.
ONGC rallied further to hold gains of 2.98 per cent at Rs 332.10 as against Rs 322.50 at close overnight.
Bharti Airtel traded firm to build gains of 2.56 per cent at Rs 410.80. The share ended yesterday’s session at Rs 400.55.
Axis Bank edged up further to trade at Rs 578.25 as against Rs 564.25 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 2.48 per cent.
NMDC shone in late session to trade at Rs 132.40. This was a gain of 2.24 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 129.5 at close on Tuesday.
