BHEL steamed up 1.79 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the BSE at the close on Monday. The share finished the session at Rs 270.55 against Rs 265.80 at close on Friday.
Hero MotoCorp edged up further to hold gains of 1.24 per cent at Rs 2,693.50 against Rs 2,660.50 at close in the previous session.
Maruti Suzuki drove up 1.08 per cent to finish at Rs 4,500.10 against Rs 4,451.95 at close last week.
Bajaj Auto gained 0.87 per cent to trade at Rs 2,560 against Rs 2,537.85 at close previously.
State Bank of India traded up 0.60 per cent at Rs 283.10 against Rs 281.40 at close last week.
