Shares of Biocon jumped as the USFDA has issued no observations on the company's Visakhapatnam facility.
The stock rose as much as 3.6 per cent to Rs 369.85, its highest since August 8.
According to the company, the USFDA has completed inspection of the company's facility in Vishakhapatnam without any observations. No form 483, which is a notice outlining violations in facility, was issued, it said.
Up to Monday's close, the stock had risen 12.7 per cent this year.
