BPCL extended its rally to build further gains by the close. It finished the session at Rs 866.7, up 3.28 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 839.20.
Bosch moved up 2.17 per cent at Rs 22,183.75 as against Rs 21,713.55 at close yesterday.
Reliance Industries advanced 1.82 per cent to quote at Rs 912.70. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 896.35.
Tech Mahindra held steady to keep gains of 1.81 per cent at Rs 557.25 as against Rs 547.35 at close yesterday.
Ambuja Cement spurted 1.42 per cent to trade at Rs 229. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 225.80.
