Axis Bank was trading broadly firm today, lifted by robust Q4 numbers announced yesterday. The bank reported that net profit rose 18 per cent in Q4. At 11.45 am the share was quoting at Rs 576.35 on the NSE. This represented a gain of 4.42 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 551.95.
BPCL flared up 2.98 per cent at Rs 778.50 as against Rs 755.95 at close on Wednesday.
Lupin perked up 2.20 per cent to trade at Rs 1,782.40. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 1,744.10.
Vedanta gained 1.67 per cent at Rs 210.50. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 207.05.
YES Bank was up 1.31 per cent at Rs 845.50 as against Rs 834.55 at close on Wednesday.
